Housing Plan
East Texas Animal Rescue plans to build a facility to house at least 30 dogs at a time. This facility will affect every aspect of rescue operations, from animal health and welfare; to cost of operations and staffing efficiency; to public perception and the number of animals served. Good shelter design embodies the goals and mandates of the rescue organization and optimizes the experiences of animals, staff, volunteers, adopters, and the community, now and into the future. The cost to build the facility and get it up and running is $150,000.
